Case Closed-The York Police Department was able to quickly and safe solve this case with tips from the public. Arrested was Roger Allen Dowd
On the morning of Monday, June 27, 2011, the Family Trust Credit Union was robbed by a white male that was described as being 30 to 40 years of age; he had dark hair and at the time of the robbery was wearing a camouflage t-shirt and plaid short pants. The suspect fled in a burgundy, extended cab truck.

On Saturday, December 04, 2010, the Clover Community Bank, located at 5196 Charlotte Highway, Clover, South Carolina, was the victim of a robbery. The suspect walked into the bank and presented a note to the dealer that demanded money.
The suspect was described as a black male 40 to 50 years of age. He was approximately 6’ tall and at the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark blue jacket that had a white stripe on the jacket.

| | The Provident Community Bank, located at 615 Crown Pointe Circle in Rock Hill, was robbed on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The robber came in shortly after 4:00PM and demanded money after indicating that he had a gun.
The suspect was described as a black male, 18-25 years of age, approximately 6 foot tall and weighing 160 to 185 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a grey pullover, hooded-sweatshirt. The hood was pulled up over his head and the sweatshirt was wet, it was raining at the time of the robbery. The robber was also described as having large eyes and prominent front teeth; at the time of the robbery he had no facial hair.

| | On Thursday November 01, 2007, the Wachovia Bank and Trust located at the intersection of West Highway 160 and Gold Hill Road near Fort Mill, South Carolina was robbed. The robbery occurred at approximately 10:00am
The suspect in this case is described as a white male, 6’ to 6’2” tall and 250 to 280 pounds. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a camouflage “boney” style hat, a blue jean jacket over a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses and tennis shoes.
