The York County Sheriff’s Office has released a forensic artist sketch of the suspect in the Monday, February 21, 2011 assault of an elderly York County resident.
On that date, an elderly female was at her Crossland Road home when she was assaulted; Crossland Road is in the Clover area. When the victim in this case answered her front door, a man forced the door open and hit her in the face with a gun. The victim was knocked to the floor but was able to escape without being assaulted any further.
The suspect in this case is described as a black male with a light complexion, he is estimated to be 18-21 years of age and, at the time of this assault, he was wearing an orange shirt and a white hat or do rag. The suspect may have left the area in a gold car with clear, or white taillights, the car may have possibly been a Mitsubishi.
The victim worked with a forensic artist to develop a composite sketch of the suspect. Composite sketches are an approximation of what the suspect looks like and is not a portrait of the suspect.
